Suarez: Madrid has Real appeal
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has admitted would find it hard to turn down a move to Real Madrid.
Suarez revealed in an interview with Uruguayan radio station Sport 890 the fierce criticism he has faced from the English media may force him to continue his career elsewhere.
"I've worked hard since childhood to get where I am and I keep getting constant criticism from the English press. It makes me tired. Liverpool want me to stay, but do not know what will happen," he said.
The 26-year-old has courted controversy since his arrival from Ajax, facing repeated accusations of diving, and serving a ban for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra and another another for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.
He added: "It would be difficult to say 'no' to Real Madrid."
Suarez said the Reds had treated him well and he had "only words of thanks for the fans".
He added: "So far I have not received any official offer from Madrid."
The striker has established himself as one of Europe's leading players since moving to Anfield in 2011, but his indiscipline has meant the club have had to cope without him for long periods.
He will miss the first six games of next season following his 10-match ban for biting Ivanovic, having been banned for eight matches for abusing Evra.
Madrid are currently looking for a new manager, with Jose Mourinho leaving at the end of the Primera Division season.
