Matt Hodgson skippers Force against Lions in Perth
Matt Hodgson will captain Western Force in Wednesday's match against the British and Irish Lions in Perth.
Hodgson is one of six Test players in the squad for the match at Patersons Stadium.
The others are Salesi Ma'afu, Richard Brown, Brett Sheehan and Sam Norton-Knight who are in the starting line-up while ex-All Black Alby Mathewson is on the bench.
Head Coach Michael Foley said of the official Force website: "The Lions match represents a special occasion for the players involved and everyone was keen to put their hands up for selection.
"From the outset we recognised the need to approach this week as an entire squad. To that end, every available member of our squad, a number from our wider training group, and club players from Perth and elsewhere will get opportunities against the Lions and Waratahs.
"We've included some of our most experienced players to provide leadership against a Lions squad we have a great deal of respect for."
When Western Australian met the Lions in 2001 the tourists claimed a comprehensive 116-10 victory at the WACA.
