As usual on the day after a match, the players that featured against AC Milan went through the recovery routine at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper. The big news was the return of David Villa, who was advised by the club physios to stay in Barcelona and train alone as after suffering renal colic last week, a condition that tends to weaken the body. But on Thursday the Asturian was able to rejoin his team-mates in what was a less intense session for those that had played the night before in the San Siro. Bañuz, from the B team, also worked out with the first team.
But Adriano Correia worked in isolation. The Brazilian defender did not travel to Milan due to right hamstring trouble and has not yet fully recovered.
