Graham Rowntree: Sees room for improvement
England might have registered three straight wins in this season's RBS Six Nations but assistant coach Graham Rowntree is refusing to get carried away. England followed up their wins over Scotland and Ireland with a hard-fought 23-13 success over France. But deep in the bowels of Twickenham, Rowntree did not look like a man ready to celebrate victory over Les Bleus. And although he was pleased with the way the pack dealt with the French forwards, such as Thomas Domingo and Christophe Samson, Rowntree could still see room for improvement. "We did some problem solving and made life difficult for them on occasion. In terms of possession lost, we will have to look at that and fix it quickly." Graham Rowntree Quotes of the week "I am very proud that the guys have come out on the right side," said Rowntree. Fix"With the team they picked on paper, especially with Domingo, at scrum time they were a handful as was Samson in the lineout as well. "We did some problem solving and made life difficult for them on occasion. In terms of possession lost, we will have to look at that and fix it quickly." Rowntree did have special praise for Tom Wood and man-of-the-match Chris Robshaw, however even that was delivered with a caveat. "I think Tom Wood has probably had his finest game in an England shirt and didn't win man of the match so that shows how well Robbo played," he said. "The breakdown was a key battle and I thought Dusautoir was exceptional there. I think we will have to look at how we dealt with him, or didn't on a couple of occasions."
